About this site

Music is an important part of Christian worship. As music leaders we select and prepare songs for worship every week. For each song we should be prepared to answer the question "Why is it included in Worship?" What does this song have to teach us? How is it related to a Biblical truth or concept?

We Have Gathered in the Presence of the Lord

We Have Gathered in the Presence of the Lord
By Craig Adams

Matt 18: 20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. ...in the midst of them...That is the KJV. Many of the newer translations do not use midst they say "with them" or "among them". But, midst, or the Greek word mesos (I am far from a Greek scholar, this is just something I read) means middle or center. He is at the center of why we are here.
