Christmas Offering from Casting Crowns

In Old Testament times people could not approach God the way we do
today. Only the high priest was allowed to enter the Holy of Holies
and offer sacrifices for the people. That all changed with Jesus.
Today any time we enter worship or bow in prayer it is as if we are
entering the Holy of Holies and approaching God Himself. Some of the
first stories we read about Jesus are of people coming to Jesus to
worship and offer gifts. From the poor and lowly shepherds of
Bethlehem to wealthy wise-men from a far away land and a different
faith. We are all called to come to Jesus to worship, offer gifts,
our talent and our lives.
